The awareness survey, which included over 1,000 affordable housing loan customers, found that there is a lot of confusion about whether woman’s ownership is mandatory to avail PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) benefits, only 48% of the respondents knew that it’s a must for EWS (Economically Weaker Section) and LIG (Low Income Group) home buyers.
